Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been the recipient of a number of prizes, including a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was named an Officer of Canada. She also received the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara was first noticed as an actor in the year 1974 as she was a part of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was a part of the principal cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) alongside John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara and Candy began working in Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara won an Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara was a member of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board and was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
