Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn, born August 19 1965 was an American actress. She also works as a producer and director. She is best known for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick won two Emmy Awards in the years 2010 and 2007 for her performance as Johnson. The show ended on August 13, 2012, after the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring character in the role of Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick received an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are in addition to her numerous. Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator, family therapist, venture capitalist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech Therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was an Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has announced that she's Jewish and has been a participant in Passover meals.
